Michelle Dee – studied BA(Hons) Interactive Media/Digital Media Journalism at Hull School of Art and Design.

I’m very aware of the changing nature of journalism with new developments happening on a weekly basis. I have engaged with social networking and use this resource to follow stories, conduct research and push and pull content.

I am very much enjoying being the writing powerhouse behind hyperfruit.net.

 

I continue to work with thisisull.com promoting the Write to Speak poetry events and new mobile technology applications, amongst other assignments. I have also made a number of short films including a film edited over the Summer 2010 called Clipper 2010 which was shown at HumberMud Expo. I am very interested in Video Journalism and have undertaken a cross discipline project with the Fine Art Department after attending and filming their Art Intervention Tate Hull.

I have set up the company DeeList Media with a fellow student, together we hope to capture one corner of the Video Production market locally and raise the cultural profile of the city.
